Every year in February women and girls across the world come together to stand in solidarity and to rise in protest about violence against women. Written by Eve Ensler the award winning play ‘The Vagina Monologues’ is produced by various theater companies and amateur groups in order to raise awareness of the cause and raise funds for local organisations that aim to work against violence against women and for those affected.
This year we will be performing on the 16th February at 7pm in Divas
For anyone interested in participating in the show feel free to come along to an informal gathering – Sunday 12th Feb @1pm or join the facebook group for more information
The Vagina Monologues is part of a Global Movement of Women and Girls standing up and saying that our experience demands to be heard.
